Meet our PTC Officers:
Shana Foster - President
Shana holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Mid-America Christian University. She is a Technology Advisor for Patterson Dental and covers Oklahoma. She is married to Jeremy. They have two children that have attended CVCA since it started. Shana grew up at the South Yukon Church of Christ. Her hobbies include her children's sports and hunting. She is excited to lead the PTC and help CVCA grow!
Caryn Novotny - Vice President
Caryn graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a Bachelors of Science. She is a registered nurse in orthopedics. She has a daughter and a son that attend CVCA. Caryn and her husband, Curtis, have been members of South Yukon Church of Christ for many years. They are both excited to be active in the success and growth of CVCA.
Heather Cave - Secretary and Head of Teacher Appreciation
Heather is the mother of a CVCA Kindergartener and the wife of Forrest Cave. she has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services Counseling with a focus in Aging Services. Heather began working in the healthcare field in 2012 and has done everything from bereavement care to HIPAA management. When she is not attending one of her son's sporting everts or helping with the PTC, you can find her at a campground near the lake soaking up the sun and enjoying the peace and quiet. Heather and her family attend worship at the Whispering Pines Church of Christ in Newcastle, OK. Heather looks forward to helping promote parent/teacher relationships and building a stronger community among the CVCA parents through family fun events and fundraisers.
Natalie Malicoate - Treasurer
Natalie is originally from Texas, but has lived in Oklahoma for the last 15 years. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma. After selling her insurance agency, her family moved to Yukon. Natalie and her husband, Brandon, have been married for 10 years. They have one son who attends CVCA. Their son loved his first year at the school, and they are so excited for its future.
Kaitlin Cary - Head of Fundraising
Kaitlin graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality management and in Digital Retailing. She has spent the last 10 years coordinating for a number of people and venues, most recently as the Event Coordinator of Ranch Steakhouse in Norman. She is excited to use her experiences to work with the parents, teachers, students, and others as the fundraising/event coordinator of the PTC. Kaitlin and her husband, Grant, have attended South Yukon Church of Christ for several years. They currently have a son and daughter in CVCA.
Kayrene Gerber - Co-Head of Fundraising and Teacher Appreciation Committees, Head of the Art Committee
"Mrs. Kay Kay" is the wife of Paul Gerber and mother of their six children. She is also Mimi to their ten grandchildren, her biggest hobby. Before teaching PreK 3 and 4 at Canadian Valley Christian Academy for three years, Kayrene owned her own licensed home daycare and preschool for 25 wonderful years. Her youngest daughter is a 4th grade student. Her daughter, Karley, is the PreK 3 teacher for CVCA. Kayrene also has multiple grandchildren who attend CVCA. She truly believes that a Christian education is very important in the growth and development of children. It is her passion to see CVCA grow and continue blessing every family it serves.
Hillary Harris - Head of Social Media and Advertising
Hillary attended the University of Oklahoma and is an avid Sooner fan. For the past 7 years, she has been in management in the healthcare field and currently works in the business office at Oklahoma Heart Hospital. She is married to Bear, and they have two children. Their daughter is going to be starting her second year at CVCA in kindergarten. Their son is almost two. On the weekends, you can find them spending time with family, exploring new parks and hiking trails, or attending worship at their home congregation in Piedmont. Hillary is excited to work with parents and teachers to help CVCA grow to be the best it can possibly be. Go Lions!
